The Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology accepts students with a strong interest in life sciences, environmental sciences and manufacturing, and also with great potential of becoming highly specialized professionals in businesses and the government administration both in Japan and abroad. In technology and science based problem-solving, students need to be flexible enough to apply their expertise of his/her specific academic field to another, be creative enough to spur innovations, and develop strong global mindset to compete in international arena in the future. With these key elements required to applicants in mind, we look forward to applications from those who can meet the criteria from 1 to 3 below:
- Willingness to obtain profound expertise particularly in the field of leading sciences and technology, willingness to acquire a wide range of knowledge in order to respond to any societal changes flexibly
- Willingness to create new ideas, mechanisms and innovations for a wide variety of issues in specialized fields,
- Willingness to address regional issues from global perspectives while responding to an increasingly globalizing international community.
