Overview
For the continuing survival of human beings, the art of comprehensive management with an in-depth understanding of local ecosystems is essential. In order to realize sustainable biological production in harmony with the ecosystem, this department provides comprehensive practical education, combining domestic and international field surveys, laboratory experiments, theories of pharmacokinetics, ecosystem ecology including plants and animals, conservation biology, agricultural civil engineering, and other curricula. We educate and conduct research to develop human resources who can perform appropriate management of biological production environments and the practical management of local ecosystems based on evaluation, conservation, and remediation techniques aiming for the design of coexistence between nature and humanity.
