Overview
Due to human-induced changes within the global environment and the growth of world population, the sustainable and stable production and supply of agricultural products have become important issues essential to the continuing survival of humanity. Based on plant sciences including plant physiology, plant genetics, plant pathology, and plant cell engineering as common ground, this department features learning advanced and sophisticated knowledge and techniques related to plant production and distribution. We educate and conduct research to develop human resources who can broadly contribute to plant production-related industries in a globalized society.
