Life Science for Food Division
Overview
An understanding of food science and food-related life sciences are important to address the significant challenges of improving the environment of our food and human health. This department aims to help students acquire advanced knowledge and skills applicable to the entire food industry, attained through comprehensively understanding the nutrients and functions of food. Moreover, students systematically learn about quality management, and the distribution and processing of food products. We educate and conduct research to develop human resources who have specialized knowledge and problem-solving skills to meet society's needs in the fields of food-related industries, in terms of development, production, and distribution.
